Can I get some quick facts about the facilities?
This premier, full-service horse show facility has undergone extensive remodeling and expansion within the past year to offer visitors an incredible equestrian experience. The existing indoor arena is now 260 by 108 feet, and the brand new indoor arena stands at 615 by 120 feet. The arena also contains over 700 stalls, LED lighting, climate control systems and 20 cabins that riders can stay at during extended competitions.

Wilmington College’s campus features three regulation soccer fields, a football stadium that seats 3,500 spectators, six lighted outdoor tennis courts that seat 200 and an eight-lane track. Tewksbury-Delany field can host baseball and softball games, while Fred Raizk Arena can fit 3,400 spectators and is built to accommodate volleyball, wrestling and basketball. The school also has an Olympic-size pool and an arboretum that’s used for cross country races.
Clinton County Fairgrounds
Sports: Motocross, demolition derby, tractor pulls
This arena is complete with a one-mile track and fixed seating for 2,500 spectators, with additional bleacher seating available upon request. In the past, the Fairgrounds have been used for a wide variety of events including tractor pulls, motocross and demolition derbies, to name a few.
Clinton-Massie Local Schools
Sports: Track and field, football, tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling.
The schools in the Clinton County area are well-equipped to host sports events of all kinds. Together, the schools offer one six-lane track that surrounds a regulation football field and can hold 1,600 fans, three outdoor tennis courts with seating for 200, two regulation soccer fields and five gymnasiums that can accommodate basketball, volleyball and wrestling. Each gymnasium can hold approximately 1,400 spectators with additional standing room available.
Cowan Lake State Park
Sports: Triathlons, boating, biking
This gorgeous 7,000-acre state park is made up of four miles of clean, accessible trails and 700 acres of water, making it the perfect location for triathlon events. The park is also used for sailing, boating and canoeing events, as well as 5K races.
Wilmington City Parks
Sports: Baseball, softball, tennis, soccer
Clinton County’s parks system is another great resource when it comes to hosting sports events. Together, the parks offer seven baseball/softball fields that each sit 200 fans, four lighted tennis courts and three grass soccer pitches.
Wilmington Air Park
Sports: Speed racing, autocross
Once a private air field, Wilmington Air Park was repurposed and has become the go-to spot for speed racing events. Rather than traditional races in which drivers compete against each other all at once, races at Wilmington Air Park consist of individual drives at top speeds down a one-mile stretch of track. The Sports Car Club of America holds annual events here.
How do I get the teams there?
Located only 40 minutes north of Cincinnati, Clinton County makes traveling easy no matter which type of transportation you choose.
By Car: Thanks to the fact that it rests right in the middle of the United States, Clinton County is perfect for teams who prefer driving to sports events. The heart of Clinton County sits just south of I-71, and is accessed by Route 3 and Highways 22 and 68. In addition to Cincinnati, major cities within a six-hour drive of Clinton County include Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis; Louisville, Kentucky; and Nashville, Tennessee.
By Air: The closest airport to Clinton County is Columbus Regional Airport, which is just over an hour away. Airlines include American, Delta, Southwest and United.
