Encore Resort isn’t like your typical hotel stay; heck, it isn’t like your normal resort stay, either! What sets this magnificent stay apart from other fine options in the area is the attention to detail and comforts of home when you’re in your private space. The Encore Resort Homes at Reunion feature an outstanding array of floorplans, ready to host your family or full team.

Homes range from 2,400 to more than 6,400 square feet and offer three to 13 bedrooms, with plenty of bathrooms, open living areas and gourmet kitchens to keep everyone pacified. Fully equipped and modern kitchens, comfortable furnishings and concierge services come complimentary, as do transportation to the various theme parks nearby. Gourmet meals are prepared at your home or come delivered directly to you.

Two tennis courts, two basketball courts, three volleyball courts and a full sized soccer field have made Encore an ideal destination for traveling teams to get practices in or take their minds of one competition by engaging in another. Plus, it gives other siblings something to do instead of just watching all day. The Fitness Center has plenty of treadmills, stationary and spin bikes, free weights and more! Encore’s Clubhouse has a restaurant and a bar, fitness market, game room and a pool.

Spanning 10 acres, the AquaPark at The Encore Resort at Reunion is the ultimate wet and fun adventure, with something for everyone. Thrill seekers will race to ride the WaveRacer, Stormchaser and Tsunami slides. Challenge your friends or family on the WaveRacer, where you race to the bottom head-first on a mat in one of two lanes. Only the bold can handle the Stormchaser, which drops you vertically 60 feet straight down. Then there’s the Tsunami, which twists and turns through the Dark Tsunami Tube and enables riders to ride alone or in tandem with a buddy on a raft.

Kids will love the Surfing Safari Splash Area, where young ones can enjoy four water slides, water cannons, bridges for climbing and lots of water fountains. And while the kids are at play, parents will love the accessibility of the Poolside Cabanas, which are available for a party of up to six people right by the pool. This relaxing rental comes complete with two chaise lounges and two cozy couches, a TV, ceiling fan, safe and a mini fridge stocked with water. Delicious poolside service featuring gourmet food and frozen cocktails are available upon request.

Finally, the entire family will enjoy a trip to the Encore Arcade, located in the AquaPark. This fun-filled spot allows guests to get out of the sun and spend some time in this cool air-conditioned game room, featuring air hockey tables, Dance Dance Revolution, classic arcade games like Pac Man and Centipede, one and two-person racing games and classic pinball.

Locate directly off Interstate 4, Encore Resort is incredibly close to Walt Disney World in all of its joy, including the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, an incredible destination for your next tournament. The complex is spread across 220 acres of land and features nine venues, including the 7,500-seat Champion Stadium, which played host to the Atlanta Braves for every Spring Training from 1997 through 2019. The HP Field House is a 5,000-seat multipurpose arena, which hosts the AdvoCare Invitational college basketball tournament annually. A 5,000-seat track and field complex features a nine lane track, three shot put rings, two high jump areas, two horizontal jump runaways, two pole vault runaways and a javelin runway.

Disney’s theme parks, water parks and resorts are also incredibly close by. Walt Disney World in full encompasses almost 25,000 acres, with four themes parks, two water parks, 27 themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, several golf courses, a camping resort and other entertainment options like the outdoor shopping center Disney Springs all available. The wealth of options available make for an incredible getaway before or after games, on off days in between competition or if you’d like to stay an extra couple of days once your tournament is over!

If walking around at a theme park all day isn’t your cup of tea, take to the treetops and the skies above with some of the other outstanding entertainment options in the area. Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park sees guests swing high above the Florida Pines on a series of aerial adventures. Ziplines, trapeze swings, swinging logs, cargo nets and additional obstacles are available at your leisure, while climbers can test their skills with a challenging array of trees, varying from 10 to 50 feet high. If you’d like to get further off the ground, both Bob’s Balloons and Thompson Aire provide rides in hot air balloons, giving you a bird’s-eye view of Disney World, Encore Resort and everything else in the surrounding countryside.
