Ali Krieger Sports Complex

Ali Kreiger Sports Complex

Named for Prince William County native and World Cup Soccer star Ali Krieger, this new facility boasts a total of eight fields conveniently located off I-95. The facility provides lighting, on-site parking, restroom facilities and a concession building.

Prince William Ice Center

Prince William Ice Center

Featuring two Olympic- and NHL-sized rinks, the Prince William Ice Center supports a variety of ice sports. There are many amenities such as ample locker rooms and referee changing rooms, bleacher seating, Wi-Fi and an outstanding AV system that supports high definition video capture and live streaming capabilities. Prince William Ice Center also houses a café with a variety of food and drink selections. Four event rooms are available and can be configured in multiple ways to accommodate a range of space needs.

Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center

Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center

Located on the Prince William campus of George Mason University, Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center is a 110,000-square-foot facility that features a 50-meter competition pool, leisure pool, whirlpool, family locker rooms, full gymnasium, strength studios and racquetball courts. The facility also includes bleacher seating, ample parking, overhead audio capabilities and a Colorado Timing System with digital display.

Valley View Park

Centrally located, Valley View has multiple soccer and softball fields to host tournaments. There’s a press box, concessions and restroom facilities located within the softball fields. Each softball field has lights, dugouts, bleachers and an electronic scoreboard.

PWC Stadium Complex-Pfitzner Stadium

This stadium complex has been upgraded to MiLB specifications and includes over 4,000 seats with stand lights, in-house audio capabilities, electronic scoreboard, press box, plenty of concessions and a gift shop. In addition to its use as a baseball field, this stadium is a place to enjoy events, from baseball camps for children to corporate outings and community events. Outside the main field are three softball fields that also come equipped with lights and bleachers. Ample parking surrounds the stadium complex, which is easily accessible from I-95 and the Prince William County Parkway.

Veterans Memorial Park

This park includes multiple outdoor sporting fields and courts, an outdoor Olympic-sized pool and a 7,200-square-foot, state-of-the-art skateboard park that features bumps, moguls and a 12-by-50-foot halfpipe. Amenities include field lighting, restroom facilities, concessions, playgrounds and pavilions.

NOVA BMX

Located in Woodbridge, Virginia, NOVA BMX is the premier bike riding and racing track area in Northern Virginia for BMX riders. The race track features practice runs, open ride times, BMX riding clinics and local weekly races in addition to state qualifiers. Additional dedicated improvements like lighting and spectator seating are underway. The race park also contains ample free parking, restrooms and helmet rentals.

What is There to Do in Prince William?

Visitors can walk back in time and learn critical Civil War history at the 5,000-acre Manassas National Battlefield Park, which overlooks the site of the Battle Bull Run. Your group will learn about the Union and Confederate forces that clashed here on July 21, 1861 in what was the first major Civil War battle Enjoy miles of hiking trails, living history tours, and a visitor center that screens the 45-minute film Mansassas: End of Innocence. The park is free to visit.

The state-of-the-art National Museum of the Marine Corps honors, preserves and narrates America’s military history through the perspective of the U.S. Marines. Its magnificent architectural design features a dramatic 210-foot tiled steel mast and atrium inspired by the famous flag-raising at Iwo Jima. Exhibits include a “Leatherback Gallery” that chronicles Marine Corps history and theaters that depict pivotal battles in American warfare.

Washington, D.C.’s largest outlet mall, Potomac Mills houses 220 stores, restaurants and entertainment options that include an AMC Mills 18 multiplex. Groups can also enjoy the upscale restaurants and village theming of Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center and Northern Virginia’s only Cabela’s.

Prince William is also an outdoor adventurer’s dream. The area includes 38 square miles of preserved open space, 55 miles of trails and several public parks. Visitors can hike through the Piedmont Forest (the largest forest on the East Coast) at Prince William Forest Park, fish along the Potomac River at Leesylvania State Park and walk along the historic Neabasco Creek Boardwalk.
