Event is expected to generate several hundreds of sleeping room nights at partner hotels
Kicking off the new year in a big way, the 2021 United States Tumbling and Trampoline Association sanctioned All-Star Meet is flipping into Saint Charles, Missouri.
The event is scheduled for February 13-14. It will be hosted at Olympia, a massive multipurpose facility located in the historic Frenchtown district of Saint Charles.
In a typical year, the All-Star Meet would host over 1,000 competitors and around 6,000 + spectators from over 10 states. In terms of 2021, the meet officials have already cut off registration at 1,000 competitors, and they will adhere to the regional recommendations of wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
The meet is being produced by Kris’ Power Tumbling. It expects to generate several hundreds of sleeping room nights at partner hotels, plus countless visits to local shops, restaurants, and attractions.
“We are very fortunate to be working with Kris Metzger from Kris’ Power Tumbling during these unusual times,” said Chris Wilson, Saint Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau sales manager. “She is a true professional and has been fantastic through the entire process. As a planner, she understands the value of establishing meaningful relationships. We are excited about this fabulous event and what it means as an economic driver to the community.”
The USTA was founded in 1971 by Larry Griswold and George Nissen (the founder of the trampoline).
Kris’ Power Tumbling (KPTC) has shared the love of tumbling and dance through training 5,200 students in its 20+ years of existence. KPTC has hosted numerous Invitationals, All-Star and Southern State Meets, and the U.S.T.A. Nationals in 2012.
Kris and staff are excited to bring the 2021 USTA. All-Star Meet to Saint Charles and look forward to working with the Olympia staff to ensure a great family event.
