Scissortail Park is in the heart of a revitalized downtown OKC. Named after the scissor-tailed flycatcher, Oklahoma’s iconic state bird, the Lower Park section covers multiple sports with a full-sized turf soccer field and adjacent grass practice field, futsal court, pickleball court, and basketball court. Between the soccer field and courts are a sports pavilion, where families can catch the action in the shade and enjoy a snack, is located between the soccer field and courts. The Upper Park complements the sports facilities nicely with gardens, nature trails, wetlands, and lakes. Love’s Travel Stops Stage and Great Lawn for live music and other events.
