TBK Bank and the BettPlex sports complex recently announced TBK Bank will become the new naming rights partner for the indoor-outdoor sports facility in Bettendorf, Iowa, the fourth largest city in the Quad Cities.
The venue will be called the TBK Bank Sports Complex beginning immediately, with the full signage and branding shift to occur in 2018.
The TBK Bank Sports Complex is expected to bring in more than 750,000 visitors each year to play, sleep, shop and dine in the Quad Cities.
The 76.6-acre facility is made up of a 281,274-square-foot indoor sports complex, a 64,515 two-story family entertainment center and an outdoor sports facility. Among its offerings will be a full-size turf field suitable for 11-on-11 soccer, football and lacrosse; eight regulation basketball and volleyball courts; batting cages and a golf driving range; a physical therapy facility and food vendors and a bar.
“We’re thrilled that TBK Bank will be the naming rights partner with this facility that will unite the community and their families through sports, entertainments and events,” said John DeDoncker, EVP, senior banking officer for TBK Bank. “I believe this sponsorship will continue to deepen our commitment to this community, which we are so very proud to serve.”
“The construction phase of the TBK Bank Sports Complex will employ around 200 people. Once opened, it will employ approximately 150 people to serve the estimated 750,000 visitors it will bring to our community,” said Doug Kratz, BettPlex CEO and founder. “The BettPlex and TBK Bank share a commitment to strengthening the economic and social well-being of our local community. We are excited to partner with them on the TBK Bank Sports Complex.”
