Calvert Regional Park

Home to Cecil County’s first regional park, Calvert consists of a synthetic turf multipurpose field, basketball courts, natural grass multipurpose fields, a one-mile paved trail, playgrounds, a disc golf course, paved parking, and a concession stand. The new 112-acre park has 19 full-sized playing fields with two of the fields being lighted synthetic turf stadiums.

Lacrosse is a popular sport here with the park hosting huge events that host as many as 250 teams. Other sports, including rugby, football, soccer, Ultimate frisbee and volleyball have also used at the facility.

Substantial parking and the ability to separate the park into two venues is an added plus. The facility’s northern Maryland location is convenient, and it is also located near Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and both Philadelphia and BWI Airport. The site management provides most equipment as well as food trucks for concessions.
