KickingBird Golf
Sport: Golf
Featured on Oklahoma Golf Trail launched in 2025 to bring together some of the state’s premier courses. From rolling prairie layouts and tree-lined fairways to modern designs that challenge every skill level, the New Oklahoma Golf Trail highlights venues that have hosted top collegiate tournaments, regional championships, and national qualifiers.
One of the 18 unique trails resides in Edmond, Oklahoma at KickingBird Golf. This premier tournament venue features a newly reimagined course design, state-of-the-art practice facilities, and a new 13,3000+ sq. ft. clubhouse with full service-dining, a pro shop, and an elegant event space. Its’ entertainment center with high-tech hitting bays makes it ideal for hosting everything from competitive events to social gatherings. The Lookout restaurant offers casual dining and group catering is available with creative cuisines and craft cocktails.

Edmond Center Court
Sport: Tennis
Edmond Center Court, awarded as the premier facility in the nation by USTA, boasts 24 lighted outdoor courts, six climate-controlled indoor courts, and a 31,000-square-foot-clubhouse. Hosting dozens of major events each year, including 1,000 USTA League matches, this facility also provides programs and private lessons for both juniors and adults attracting players from around the world. The Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame is also located inside this facility, continuing enhancements to create an inspiring space for players, fans, and visitors to come together.

Renovated A.C. Caplinger Sports Complex
Sport: Baseball and Softball
Set within Edmond’s scenic Hafer Park, the fully renovated A.C. Caplinger Sports Complex will open in spring 2026 as one of the premier youth baseball and softball destinations in Oklahoma. The redevelopment includes all-new infrastructure, reconfigured field layouts, upgraded sports lighting, expanded parking, and modern amenities designed for both athletes and spectators. The $17M renovation will feature 10 synthetic turf infields accommodating ages 4-13 built to host local, regional, and state tournaments.

Arctic Edge Ice Arena
Sport: Hockey, Figure Skating
Oklahoma’s premier ice-skating center is made of 86,000 sq. ft. housing two NHL-size ice rinks, locker rooms, concession stands, and a fully stocked pro shop. This facility is home to the OU, OSU, UCO hockey games, year-round competitive leagues, youth and adult hockey tournaments and figure skating competitions. Arctic Edge is a top destination for both recreational skating and high-level competition.

Service Blake Soccer Complex
Sport: Soccer
Edmond’s top tier-soccer complex is a tournament-grade location with 16 full-size soccer grass fields. In addition to competitive play for local leagues and large-scale tournaments, the facility supports development programs for young athletes to learn the game, improve skills, and prepare for higher levels of competition. A recent $5.5M renovation expanded concession/bathroom buildings, a new conference room for tournament meetings, and enhanced the entrance with an added drop off for better traffic flow.

Edmond Schools Aquatic Center at Mitch Park
Sport: Swimming
The Mitch Park YMCA & Edmond Public Schools Aquatic Center features a state-of-the-art recreation center and a 50-meter Olympic-size competition pool with seating for 800 spectators, making it an ideal venue for state and regional swim meets. This facility provides year-round swim and water safety lessons, plus competitive training programs where children and teens work with experienced coaches to build technique, speed, and endurance. With amenities that support both elite athletes and beginners, the Edmond Aquatic Center is one of two Olympic-size pools in Oklahoma and serves as a hub for recreational swimming, competitive training, and large-scale aquatic events.
