McKinney ISD Football Stadium and Community Event Center features seating for 12,000 spectators and serves the district’s three high schools while also hosting regional and national events, including the NCAA Division II Football Championship. Located on the south end of the stadium, the Community Event Center (CEC) is a versatile venue designed to accommodate a wide variety of events throughout the year, including districtwide professional development, athletic and fine arts banquets, retirement celebrations, high school reunions, the MISD Distinguished Student Program, and the district’s Teacher of the Year Dinner. The CEC accommodates up to 400 guests in a banquet-style configuration or approximately 500 attendees in a lecture-style setting, making it an ideal space for meetings, celebrations, and special events.
