Primarily indoor, versatile and high capacity, Rock Hill Sports & Event Center is a regional draw for tournaments of all kinds. The facility features six to eight full-size basketball courts, convertible to 16 volleyball courts, plus a dedicated championship arena with 1,200 stadium seats and 700 court-side permanent seats. Multiple ancillary spaces support small events, including hospitality zones, concessions, locker rooms, meeting rooms and a multipurpose, 8,000-square-foot event area with AV setup. The facility spans approximately 151,000 square feet and maintains NCAA-recommended clear court heights of 41 feet or more for volleyball play. Strategically located as part of the University Center mixed-use district, it ties directly to hotels, restaurants, Winthrop University and Old Town Rock Hill.
