WESTFIELD, Ind. (July 21, 2016) – Grand Park Sports Campus, a 400-acre outdoor sports complex in Westfield, Indiana, will open its second indoor facility Friday, July 22. The Grand Park Events Center features three full-size professional soccer fields that can be used for recreational and competitive play for all field sports.

The 377,000-square-foot space also includes office space, locker rooms, meeting rooms, a Jonathan Byrd’s family dining restaurant, club-level lounge and private boxes with views of the fields. Future plans also include an on-site workout room and retail. The indoor fields will make Grand Park an attractive option for sporting events year-round.

“The potential for the space is unlimited,” said William Knox, director of Hamilton County Sports Authority. “We’re excited to begin exploring the possibilities of hosting a wide variety of events.”

“This new facility builds upon the success we’ve already experienced with the outdoor sports campus,” said Westfield Mayor Andy Cook. “It adds a key component for Grand Park to become a year-round destination.”

Because of the scale of the facility, Grand Park is also evaluating options for hosting nonsporting events as well. Grand Park Events Center includes multiuse space for trade shows, live entertainment, conventions and special event programming.
