Tatum Park Sports Complex

Sports Covered: Soccer, Baseball, Disc Golf, Softball, Tennis, Pickleball

Tatum Park is Hattiesburg’s largest sports complex, offering a variety of facilities in one, convenient location. With the largest number of soccer fields in one site anywhere in the Southeast, Tatum Park offers 18 flat fields including two brand-new championship level pitches. There are also 9 youth baseball diamonds with recessed dugouts, lighting, and permanent covered seating along with four softball fields, 12 tennis courts, an 18-hole disc golf course, and multiple practice fields. Thousands of parking spaces, numerous concession stands, ample restrooms, a pavilion, and two playgrounds round out this diverse complex.

The Center at Forrest County

Sports Covered: Archery, Rodeo, Motocross, Cheer

Roping in planners from across the country, the Center at Forrest County hosts a variety of indoor and outdoor events each year. This 160-acre complex is anchored by a 120,000 square foot arena that accommodates more than 5,000 for rodeos, barrel races, archery tournaments, concerts, expos, motocross races, consumer shows, cheer competitions, and more. The complex also houses several outdoor buildings to hold livestock and host outdoor activities. Also on-site is a small conference center and RV park equipped with 147 full-service sites overlooking the 160-acre Forrest County Lake.

The University of Southern Mississippi

The University of Southern Mississippi is a D1 member of the Sun Belt Conference. Founded in 1910, the school has a storied history of championship play, including five NCAA national titles. Sports planners are invited to book these collegiate facilities, offering football, basketball, baseball, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, softball, golf, tennis, track and field, soccer, weightlifting, and one of the premier E-sports arenas in the nation. Reed Green Coliseum seats more than 8,000 fans overlooking a premier hardwood court. Pete Taylor Park has hosted tournaments of all sizes on its artificial turf baseball diamond, offering unique seating for up to 6,300. M.M. Roberts Stadium football arena features premium artificial turf and seating for 36,000 fans.
