Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center

Sports Covered: Hockey, skating, basketball, volleyball, soccer

In the spirit of their commitment to both recreation and community involvement, the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center project has been in the works for several years with the ambition of creating an event space for every possible occasion that will draw crowds from throughout the region. Current plans for the construction of the center are well underway and include seating for 1,500 for spectators in arenas reserved for hockey, skating and other cold activities. In addition, hard court and turf stadiums will be included for basketball, volleyball, soccer and more. But sporting events are not the extent of this massive complex, as an open gym and spaces for large-scale community events such as banquets or conventions will be present in an additional 20,000 square feet of conventionspace.

Janesville Youth Sports Complex

The Janesville Youth Sports Complex is a fantastic place to help foster a love for athletics in kids and adolescents from an early age. The complex is spread out over roughly 90 acres of land with baseball and softball fields aplenty along with fields for soccer and football as well, making it a great space for tournaments and sporting events. In collaboration with local organizations such as the YMCA, such events are held all the time and youth from the area are encouraged to participate. In addition, the complex has open spaces, pavilions, restrooms and trails that allow it to double as a wonderful park area for a relaxing day out.

Rock Aqua Jays Stadium

Located right on the Rock River, the Rock Aqua Jays Stadium is home to one of the most successful ski show team in the world. Visitors can flock to the waterside bleachers to experience a show like no other as ski show teams of every level from regional to international can be seen competing in this scenic arena. With over 3,000 seats available along with concessions and facilities for guests, there’s room for everyone to enjoy this singular spectacle.
