Out on the greens, Erin Hills Golf Course, which Golf Digest dubbed one of the best courses in the country, recently hosted the 80th U.S. Women’s Open Championship, reinforcing Wisconsin’s reputation as America’s No. 1 golf destination. Baird Center has over 1.3 million square feet of event space. High profile events have been held here often since its last remodel, such as the 2020 DNC along with numerous sports and large concerts. The building offers 52 meeting rooms, a ballroom and massive exhibition or athletic spaces to fit almost any need and desire of those wanting to host events, with attachments to the Milwaukee skywalk for easy access to the rest of downtown with a view of the local skylines.

American Family Field

Home to Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers, American Family Field is considered one of the best ballparks in the MLB. This retractable roof ballpark opened in 2001 and sits on 265 acres. Featuring North America’s only fan-shaped convertible roof which can open and close in less than 10 minutes, American Family Field also sports large panes of glass to allow natural grass to grow. The park contains 38 permanent concession stands and 66 restrooms. The field was converted into a basketball arena during the 2023 Wisconsin basketball season for the Brew City Battle, showcasing the venue’s versatility.

Fiserv Forum is more than just the home for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks and the Marquette Golden Eagles men’s basketball team. Designed to reflect the heritage, history and personality of Milwaukee, the state-of-the art, 714,000-square-foot arena is the hub of entertainment in Wisconsin. Opened in 2018 in downtown Milwaukee, Fiserv Forum is a $524-million arena sporting a seating capacity of 17,341 for basketball and 18,000 for concerts. It features 34 suites, three clubs, enhanced acoustics for both concerts and sporting events, state-of-the-art performer dressing rooms, more than 9,000 LED fixtures and 34 large public restrooms. In ensuing years, the 30-acre district surrounding Fiserv Forum will become the largest development project ever undertaken in downtown Milwaukee.

This park provides soccer players with an incredible experience both on and off the pitch. Built in 1994, the 4,000-seat stadium is Milwaukee’s premier indoor and outdoor soccer complex. Enjoy soccer, field hockey and ultimate frisbee games on 13 outdoor fields, or watch an indoor soccer match take place on one of three indoor turf fields. Table tennis, cornhole and lacrosse events are also regularly hosted at the facility. The park also hosts in-house concessions to meet your needs for long tournament days.

The Rock

The Rock is a sports and entertainment facility that attracts over 600,000 visitors a year. This complex features attractions for all seasons including six major league baseball replica fields, where no detail has been left behind, with a miniature Green Monster on site,  Snowpark and the Umbrella Bar. Activities at The Rock range from weekly live music and food trucks to regional baseball tournaments and local league games. A recent thruway and integration of the region’s spectacular Oak Leaf Trail provides easy access to the Milwaukee County parks system for bikers and hikers.

OAW Indoor Sports Complex

The OAW is a state-of-the-art facility that is designed to bring the best out of their competitors. The indoor facility boasts over 150,000 square feet of indoor floor space that can be used for almost any sport that doesn’t have water. The facility has three turf fields, four basketball courts, six volleyball courts and 12 pickleball courts. It also plays host to baseball and softball leagues throughout the fall and winter with full-sized fields. The complex also has golf simulators and a gym attached to the building. It is great as a venue space with multiple nearby hotels that are accustomed to playing host to tournament groups.

Bavarian United fields host the Bavarian United men and women’s semi-professional clubs, which play in USL 2 and USL W. The club’s four fields are rife with developing talent, which has been their sole mission since it was founded by Bavarian immigrants in 1929. The deep history of the fields is not to be ignored, as it is one of the oldest clubs in the Americas and has produced many top collegiate and professional talents. The four fields can be used for full matches, with the crown jewel being on-site Heartland Value Stadium with its turf field and stands on the non-playing side. On-site concession stands are well accustomed to large matches, with MLS youth sides often playing on the premises.

The Pettit National Ice Center has much more that meets the eye than one would expect. The facility is widely known in the speedskating world for its legacy across the ice sport world. All of the competitors in American speedskating at the last six Olympic games have either trained or competed at the facility, something that nowhere else can boast. The center will host the Olympic Trials for speedskating in 2025. The city of Milwaukee is completely part of the long history of American speedskating, bringing in over 430,000 unique visitors each year. Along with an Olympic oval, the facility hosts two hockey rinks, locations for curling, a running track and many other recreational spaces.

Built in 1950, The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is a major sports and entertainment venue that features 41,700 square feet of floor space. With no obstructed-view seats, the arena’s configuration puts every seat close to the action. It features 8,910 permanent seats and a 12,700 capacity. Part of a larger downtown campus that includes the Milwaukee Theatre and Wisconsin Center, the arena has undergone some upgrades including a new locker room, lighting, scoreboard and video tech, along with major concession upgrades.
