One destination marketing organization along Florida’s Gulf Coast is making waves.

Experience Florida’s Sports Coast, formerly known as Visit Pasco, has undergone a major revamp to boost tourism in Pasco County.

The new brand has released a user-friendly website which highlights its new logo, engaging social media platforms and messaging on the niche initiatives offered by its destinations, while paying homage to the county’s sporting roots.

“The Florida’s Sports Coast identity and comprehensive marketing campaign is inspired by the best features Pasco has to offer, the destination’s endless sports, both in the leisure and organized categories,” said Adam Thomas, director of tourism at Experience Florida’s Sports Coast. “We are confident this amplified vision truly captures the destination’s image and messaging, creating an opportunity for Visit Pasco to evolve as the industry evolves – catering to our visitors.”

With 24 miles of coastline, more than 100 trails for biking, hiking and exploring and eight zip lining courses, Pasco County is indeed home to some niche sporting options. Yet it offers some of the usual fare as well; hockey, soccer, lacrosse and tennis can all be found as well.

Pasco County played host to the 2018 U.S. Olympic Women’s Hockey Team training program and hosted the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament of Champions lacrosse tournament late in 2017.
