Another top attraction is Tufts Archives, located within the Given Library across from the Holly Inn. The pride of Southern Pines’ Parks and Recreation Department, the Morganton Road Sports Complex is made up of the Armory softball/baseball field, the Optimist baseball field, and four soccer fields. Amenities include restrooms, concession stands, and plenty of spectator seating and parking. The playground and fields and are open dawn to dusk, while fields with lights are open until midnight. The soccer complex also offers picnic tables for lunches be tween tourney games. Easy access from Morganton Road makes this an ideal location for multi-team tournaments, company- sponsored events, and family fun.

Guests will also find 16 horseshoe courts and a sand volleyball court, plus a convenient location on Morgantown Road between South Bennett Street and U.S. Highway 1.
