More than 2,000 athletes descended upon Milwaukee from November 8-11 to compete in the November North American Cup, which took place at the Wisconsin Center.

Fencers came from around the country to compete in all three disciplines: épée, foil and saber. The competition saw 16 former Junior and Cadet World medalists scheduled among the action, as well as six competitors from Wisconsin.

The North American Cup additionally featured a two-hour STEM and fencing program held on November 8, where USA Fencing hosted 30 middle school students from the Academy of Excellence in Milwaukee. Student-athletes from the Milwaukee School of Engineering Fencing Club conducted a hands-on demonstration, exploring the science behind fencing.
