Virginia Beach has become a top spot for amateur and participatory sporting competitions. Families in town for sporting events have booked more than 100,000 nights in hotel rooms this year alone. To accommodate the new demand in sporting events, Virginia Beach has launched a $60,000 third-party study in order to determine where to build a new field house. This study done by Victus Advisors of Park City, Utah will be concluded in a few weeks and will advise a facility that will draw overnight visitors in the fall, winter and spring.
