VIRGINIA BEACH SPORTS CENTER​

The Virginia Beach Sports Center is a premier, multi-purpose sports and event venue located less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The center offers an impressive 285,000 square feet of space, including 117,000 square feet of column-free courts convertible for basketball, volleyball and other events, and 195,000 square feet of programmable space. A key highlight is the 200-meter hydraulically banked indoor track, accompanied by comprehensive field event amenities such as dual jumping and pole vault pits. It boasts spectator seating for 5,000, dedicated athlete and official facilities, convertible restrooms for doping control, and elevated skybox meeting rooms. Additionally, the ADA-compliant venue includes a scenic outdoor courtyard ideal for live entertainment or awards ceremonies.

The LEED Gold-certified, state-of-the-art Virginia Beach Convention Center offers more than 250,000 square feet of programmable event space for a wide variety of sporting events and tournaments. Hosting a range of indoor sporting events and known for its expansive exhibit halls, high ceilings and flexible floor plans that accommodate courts, mats and other sports-specific setups, it’s hosted a variety of competitions including wrestling tournaments, cheer and dance championships, gymnastics meets, fencing matches, martial arts events and indoor track-related expos. The facility features over 150,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space, allowing for multiple competition areas under one roof. Its proximity to hotels, restaurants and the nearby Oceanfront makes it especially attractive for large-scale regional and national sporting events.

The Virginia Beach Sportsplex is a 6,000-seat stadium with six corporate suites, two large locker rooms, enclosed media area, concession stands and an outdoor covered gazebo. It is only a few miles away from the Oceanfront and Town Center. There is plenty of easily accessible shopping, dining, outdoor adventures and family activities available throughout the city.

The outdoor, 75-acre Hampton Roads Soccer Complex features 24 soccer fields (22 Bermuda grass and 2 artificial turf fields with lights), one turf field with stadium seating for 260 spectators, 2,500 square-foot brick building for tournament headquarters, athletic trainers and training room, 2 restroom facilities, 2 concession stands, 4 picnic pavilions, 2 parking lots with 700 spaces, including 16 permitted spots for tournament staff or VIPs. The complex is located less than one mile from the Virginia Beach SportsPlex.

PRINCESS ANNE ATHLETIC COMPLEX

Sports: Baseball, lacrosse, football, soccer, softball.

The Princess Anne Athletic Complex is located in the heart of Princess Anne Commons across the street from the Virginia Beach Sportsplex and Veteran’s United Home Loans Amphitheater. The complex includes eight lighted tournament-quality softball fields and eight multi-purpose playing fields (which allow for football, soccer and more), four of which are lighted synthetic and four are Hybrid Bermuda.

VIRGINIA BEACH TENNIS AND COUNTRY CLUB

Sports: Tennis, Swimming

At an 94,000 square feet, the Virginia Beach Tennis and Country Club is one of the largest tennis facilities in the country, a certified USTA facility and past winner of the prestigious Tennis Club of the Year Award.The club offers numerous instructional programs for tennis, swimming, wellness and fitness as well as opportunities to compete and join teams on all levels. The state-of-the-art fitness center features Technogym equipment, spin classes on Technogym bikes, yoga, Zumba, personal training and massage therapy. The facility has two great dining options, wi-fi, a well-stocked Pro Shop and a juice bar.

VIRGINIA BEACH FIELD HOUSE

The Virginia Beach Field House is Virginia’s premier indoor sports facility. With over 175,000 square feet, the field house hosts leagues, camps, clinics and tournaments for youth and adults in soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, arena (indoor) baseball and softball, field hockey, lacrosse, dodgeball and other social sports. The Virginia Beach Field House has 6 turf fields, 8 regulation volleyball courts, 4 basketball courts and full locker rooms. For additional entertainment, there are over 40 flat screen TVs throughout the building and four 110″ giant screen TVs in the lounge.

PICKLEBALL VIRGINIA BEACH

Pickleball Virginia Beach is one of the largest dedicated pickleball facilities in the country, located on 15 scenic acres and featuring 25 outdoor asphalt courts with permanent lines, nets and night lighting, with plans to expand to 50 courts. The facility includes a fully stocked pro shop, locker rooms with showers, a refreshment area and offers training programs for all skill levels. It regularly hosts major tournaments and leagues, including the “24 Hours of Pickleball” and the PPA Virginia Beach Classic, with seating for over 700 spectators. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with visitor-friendly amenities such as water stations, first aid/AEDs and on-site parking.

THE USA REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER

Sports: Field Hockey

The USA Regional Training Center, the only Field Hockey venue in the nation, with 2 Astroturf water-based fields. It also has locker rooms, and field lights.
