Three gymnastics meets will be held at the Walt Price Fitness Center over a one month period. With these three gymnastics meets, over 5,200 people will be visiting the City of Everett and Snohomish County, and close to $1.7 million in economic impact will be generated.
USA Gymnastics Collegiate Men & Washington State High School Men Championships will be at the Walt Price Fitness Center, March 24-26. Eight men’s collegiate teams including University of Washington will be competing March 24-25. Other collegiate teams competing are U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, Arizona State University, SC United, Springfield College, Temple University, and College of William & Mary. On March 25-26, the high School men state championships will take place. For the high school championships, gymnasts from ages 6 to 18 will compete to claim the state title.
Two weeks later, USA Gymnastics Men’s Region 2 Championships will take place April 6 – 9 at the Walt Price Fitness Center at Everett Community College. USA Gymnastics Region 2 consists of five states; Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Over 250 athletes who qualified at the State Championships will compete in this regional championships. Metropolitan Gymnastics and Cascade Elite Gymnastics men’s gymnastics programs teamed up to host the USA Gymnastics Men’s Region 2 Championships.
On April 21-23, Northwest Aerials will host the 2017 USA Gymnastics Washington State Compulsory Championships. About 600 gymnasts will compete over the three days. Gymnasts who are in the Levels 2 through 5 from across the state of Washington will compete.
