The 37,550-square foot arena floor at this complex consists of an arena, convention center, 267-room hotel and two attached parking structures right in the heart of Cedar Rapids. With the size and luxury that the Alliant Energy PowerHouse provides, it is no surprise that the complex has played host to multiple Division II National Wrestling Championships, Division II Women’s Volleyball championship, as well as Division III National Championships for volleyball and wrestling. ImOn Ice Arena

With two sheets of ice, including: an NHL arena (200 x 85 ft) and Olympic rink (100 x 200 ft), ImOn Ice Arena is the perfect spot in the Midwest for all ice skaters. The NHL arena seats 3,800 while the Olympic rink seats 200, making this somewhere all friends and family can come and watch. The ImOn Ice Arena has hosted events to the likes of the USA curling men’s and women’s National Championship, National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Championships, and U.S Figure Skating Upper Great Lakes Regional Championships. Veterans Memorial Stadium

Play on the same gorgeous baseball diamond that is home to the Cedar Rapids Kernels, Class A affiliate of the MLB’s Minnesota Twins. On top of the soccer fields, there are two youth football fields for use. Need to get some shade with the family during the tournament? Tuma Soccer & Sports Complex boasts a 5,600-square foot pavilion with restrooms, concessions, and a covered seating area that seats 325 as well as an open patio area that seats 320. A complex that has hosted multiple different USA Ultimate tournaments, Tuma Soccer & Sports Complex is the perfect spot to host your next tournament.

Seminole Valley Park

Opening relatively recently, Seminole Valley Park and Cross-Country course is ideal for your next cross-country race. Residing in a 387-acre park, there are 4K, 5K, 6K, and 8K courses that run through beautiful, wooded areas and meadows with river access. Permanent restrooms accompany this course as well as parking for 215 and overflow parking for 600. A pavilion seating area for 216 people allows for viewers and runners to have a comforting place to sit and relax.

Prospect Meadows

Prospect Meadows is the newest of the new. A new, multi-million dollar complex rested on 128 acres of land makes for exquisite baseball tournaments. The complex is currently an 8-field complex with 8 turfed infields and 4 lighted. 380 feet to center-field makes for challenging yet enjoyable play. Prospect Meadows also provides portable fencing and mounds and Miracle field for special needs players. Comfortable seating, sound systems, concession stands and socreboards top off this beautiful complex that is expected to open an additional 8 fields in the future.
