APEX Event Center

Located less than 15 minutes from Downtown Lubbock, the 60,000-square-foot APEX Event Center is a go-to for all types of events. APEX offers four hardwood courts and four multipurpose courts, which can be utilized for sports like basketball, volleyball, cheer, martial arts and more. Along with the eight courts, APEX also has two meeting rooms, which can also be rented out for parties, as well as plenty of concessions. Premier West Fitness is also located on-site, which is a full fitness center for members.
The Rawls Course at Texas Tech

Designed by renowned architect Tom Doak, The Rawls Course is an impressive home for Texas Tech Men’s and Women’s Golf. The course is a par 72, offering wide fairways and boldly contoured greens at 3,200 feet above sea level with an elevation change of up to 30 feet throughout. With its natural beauty and four sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels, it’s no wonder that The Rawls Course has earned accolades from Golf Week as the second best golf course in Texas and third best campus course in the U.S. Also on-site is Jerry’s Grill, as well as a practice facility featuring a 22-acre driving range, 4-acre teeing area with 3 target areas and a short game practice area.
Rock Solid Athletics

Rock Solid Athletics (RSA) is a 43,000-square-foot facility, conveniently located near the Canyon West Shopping Center and a short drive southwest of Downtown Lubbock. The fully air-conditioned space is perfect for gymnastics competitions, also offering programs ranging from beginners to the most advanced athletes. Along with its new and well-maintained equipment, RSA also features dance rooms and a state-of-the-art, constantly changing ninja course.
Berl Huffman Athletic Complex

North of Downtown Lubbock is the premier Berl Huffman Athletic Complex. The 86-acre facility features over 50 fields, ranging from soccer fields to top-notch baseball diamonds and more for multiple age groups. The complex’s eight championship fields feature high-quality synthetic turf, LED lighting, pavilions, benches and bleachers. A designated food truck area provides plenty of choices for grabbing meals or snacks. As the complex is located just a short drive from Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, long-distance travelers will have an easy time from arrival to destination.
Lubbock Memorial Civic Center

With 300,000 square feet of floor space to work with, Lubbock Memorial Civic Center is capable of hosting a multitude of sports, tradeshows and other major events. A variety of sporting events and tournaments excel here, including martial arts, cheer, wrestling, boxing and more. The Civic Center is also conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Lubbock, near dozens of restaurants, hotels and additional entertainment options, including the on-site, 900-capacity Moonlight Musicals Amphitheatre.
Lubbock Youth Sports Complex
Sports Covered: Baseball, softball
Baseball and softball reign supreme at Lubbock Youth Sports Complex. The facility features a total of 16 fields among four quads. The green, silver and red quads are built for softball, while the fourth quad has three Little League baseball fields and one Junior League baseball field. Each quad features its own centralized concessions building with restrooms and each field its own scorekeeper building and covered bleacher seating.
Pete Ragus Aquatic Center
Sports Covered: Swimming, diving, water polo
Located in Downtown Lubbock, close to Texas Tech University and plenty of hotels, Pete Ragus Aquatic Center is a go-to for aquatic sports in West Texas. Home to the Lubbock Swim Club, the indoor pool can be adjusted to feature 50m by eight lanes or 25y by 16 lanes with a 4.5 feet minimum depth. The single pool also has a diving well.
Sports Performance Center at Texas Tech

Built on the grounds of Texas Tech University is the $48 million Sports Performance Center. Opened in 2017, the center houses a world-class, 200-meter, banked track and an artificial turf field used by the football team as well as other Texas Tech student-athletes. Also within the center is a dedicated strength and conditioning space, a refueling nutrition station, sports medicine spaces and hydrotherapy space.
United Supermarkets Arena
Sports Covered: Basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, pro wrestling
Home to Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball and volleyball, United Supermarkets Arena is currently the largest indoor collegiate sports arena in the Lone Star State with a total of 15,300 seats. Along with the collegiate sports teams, the arena often hosts pro wrestling events, concerts from the likes of Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney and more. Major nationwide collegiate sports tournaments held here include the first and second rounds of NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball, and, more recently, the WNIT Tournament First Round in 2023.
