This award-winning athletic complex includes 80 acres of public recreational facilities, including the Iowa Baseball Field of the Year in 2017 and National Softball Field of the Year in 2019. There are also four additional softball diamonds, five multipurpose fields, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, artificial turf field, and all-weather rubber track. Amenities include two concession stands and on-site parking for 600 vehicles. Open Space Park is an STMA-Certified Facility for Environmentally Responsible Management.
