Yes, there are many local attractions offering off the field fun for traveling teams. First on your list is Saluda Shoals Park, a natural park located a mile and a half from Lake Murray with beautiful outdoor experiences, such as picnicking and swimming, that the whole family can enjoy. Then, check out Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, one of the nation’s premier natural habitat zoos.

The Harbison Boulevard area offers two movie theaters, a bowling alley and Frankie’s Fun Park for families to enjoy. For those who are interested in history, arts and culture, the city of Columbia is less than 20 minutes away. There you can visit the SC State Museum and Planetarium, the Columbia Museum of Art, the SC State House and Edventure Children’s Museum. You may catch events such as The Okra Strut Festival in September, Holiday Lights on the River (the Midland’s largest drive-through lights show) held in November and December, the Peach Festival in July and many more local festivals that your group will enjoy.
