Planning a sports tournament in Cheyenne is easy thanks to its many athletic venues and over 2,000 guest rooms.

Pioneer Park is the home of the Cheyenne Grizzlies Baseball Club, a member of the Mountain Collegiate Baseball League, a summer league with teams in Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Nebraska. Another popular venue is the Converse Softball Complex, which features four diamonds and plenty of seating for all fans and families.

North Community Park features eight natural grass soccer fields and an abundance of open space perfect for setting up bleachers, tournament headquarters and concessions. You can also plan a sports event at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, which has facilities for baseball, basketball, softball and tennis. Another good outdoor option is Holliday Park, equipped with basketball courts, horse shoes, four tennis courts and volleyball courts. Sports Venues in Laramie

The Community Recreation Center is an indoor and outdoor sports facility. It features an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor pool, an eight-lane lap pool and a full-court gym. The venue is open to junior, adults and professional sports leagues, and provides state-of-the-art amenities to sports planners and teams.

The Community Ice Arena is used for ice skating, hockey and broomball, plus other ice-related activities. Open from October through mid-March, it is used by adult, youth and university teams.

The main campus of the University of Wyoming is home to the Cowboys and Cowgirls athletics program. Around the arena are large stretches of green space that can be configured for a variety of sports matches, plus a sand volleyball court.

Teton County Recreation Center has everything you and your teams need to host a successful sports tournament. You can play basketball, volleyball or indoor soccer in the gymnasium, or compete in an aquatic showdown in the Olympic-size pool. The center can also help you locate sports facilities around town to host outdoor games, like softball, football and baseball.
