Branson RecPlex
Sports: Indoor sports, outdoor sports
This expansive, state-of-the-art sports complex offers 44,000 square feet for recreation, fitness and competitive sports. The RecPlex features a fitness center, two gymnasiums and a three-lane indoor track. In addition, there are locker rooms, community rooms and a concessions area. Included in the RecPlex is the AquaPlex, which has a 12,250-square-foot water park with a six-lane pool for lap swimming and competitions. The outdoor part of the facility includes soccer, baseball and softball fields, picnic pavilions, a playground and walking trails.
Branson Convention Center
Sports: Dance
With 110,000 square feet of flexible event space, Branson Convention Center is an event planner’s dream. One of the biggest exhibit hall areas (47,000 square feet, with 34-foot ceilings) is attached to a 22,000-square-foot ballroom. Ten flexible breakout rooms are among the facility’s meeting spaces. Branson Convention Center is conveniently located in historic downtown Branson.
Branson’s Tri-Lakes

Planners will find Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals lakes. Planners will find these places cater to sports such as wakeboarding, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, boating, sailing, scuba diving, parasailing, kayaking and fishing. Bassmaster Magazine named Bull Shoals and Table Rock among the Top 50 Best Bass Lakes. Lake Taneycomo is generally recognized as an excellent spot for trout as well. It has hosted the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, FLW and Bassmaster fishing tournaments, and King of Wake, the elite pro wakeboarding series.
Championship Golf Courses

With facilities such as these in its possession, Branson is quickly evolving into a nationally recognized golf destination. These courses are set throughout the rolling hills of the Ozarks. The valley and mountain terrain offers holes for all playing levels. Buffalo Ridge Golf Course and Top of the Rock hosted the Legends of Golf PGA Tournament. The town of Branson was recognized by Golf Magazine and Golf.com as one of the Best Summer Golf Destinations in the Midwest.
World-Class Theaters

Some of Branson’s world-class theaters include Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater Complex, which seats 1,000 spectators; Clay Cooper Theater, which seats 1,200; Welk Resort Theater with 2,300 seats and Oak Ridge Boys Theater with 2,150 seats. These theaters have multiple stage areas for performances and a vast array of cutting-edge technology, plus meeting space. They are ideal for hosting events ranging from dance competitions to martial arts events.
Miles of Trails
Sports: Running, hiking, biking
White River Valley Trail winds through the town, with picturesque views of waterfalls and Table Rock and Taneycomo lakes. Table Rock Lakeshore Trail is a paved trail that runs along Table Rock Lake, from State Park Marina to Dewey Short Visitor Center. The varying terrains provide a decent challenge for riders and runners at all skill levels.
A central location for easy access
Branson is less than a day’s drive from a third of the United States, making this spot in America’s heartland easy to access from any direction. More than 16,500 guest rooms in the town’s many hotels, motels and resorts await visitors.
By Car: US Route 65 is the major north-south road that goes through Branson.
By Air: Branson airport is just south of town. Springfield-Branson National Airport is about 45 miles away.
