Located in beautiful Naples, Florida, North Collier Regional Park is a prime location for all ages to gather and enjoy the Florida sunshine. This 213-acre park is home to 13 tournament fields, eight soccer fields and five softball fields. All fields are equipped to host tournaments of any age/experience levels proven by its large catalog of past successful tournaments and games since opening over 15 years ago. The numerous hotels in the surrounding area and recreational activities on site make North Collier Regional Park (NCRP) the ideal destination for athletes.
After games, visitors can cool off at the water park, explore the 2.5 miles of walking trails, and take a walk around the exhibit hall which boasts a plethora of learning opportunities for people of all ages. Programs have included pirate lunches, shark and fisheries discussions and a variety of other fun activities. The park also houses a state-of-the-art playground that contains a colorful, modern design. The playground includes slides, swings and a climbing apparatus.
Soccer Complex
With eight tournament grade fields, the park’s soccer complex is equipped to host any game or tournament. The soccer complex includes four natural grass fields as well as four FIFA-certified artificial turf fields. Centrally located concessions and merchandise stands, on-site parking and spectator seating make for a stress-free enjoyable experience.
Softball Complex
Located just south of the soccer complex, North Collier Regional Park’s pristine softball complex includes five tournament grade softball fields, spectator seating and concessions and merchandise stands.
Past Events
The park’s sports facilities have been the venue for a multitude of past sporting events and tournaments. The 2019 Dimitri Cup and 2020 International Soccer Qualifier were big soccer events. The 2020 Alligator Alley Fall Classic; 2020 (baseball) 2019 Paradise Coast Invitational and 2019 Senior Softball Winter Nationals brought softball excitement to the diamonds. Additionally, the 2017 Paradise Shootout was one of the top youth lacrosse tournaments in the nation.
After the Game
While the park’s tournament amenities are impressive, the facility also provides entertainment and recreational activities that extend past the sports fields. Walking trails, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, a water park, and a fitness complex are just some of the ways visitors can maximize their experience during a visit to the area and after a long day at the sports complex. The park even provides guided tours and education from their experienced park rangers in the exhibit hall and throughout the park.
The Sun-N-Fun Lagoon
As the only waterpark in Collier County, the Sun-N-Fun lagoon provides a good time for folks of all ages. With one million gallons of water running through it, the lagoon has attractions from thrilling water slides to toddler friendly splash pools. There are five different slides to choose from at the park, the most thrilling of the bunch being the Sting Ray, often considered the most exhilarating aspect of the park, which involves a speedy seven second drop to the pool below in the fully covered slide.
Sunny’s river provides two different paths around the water park, one being for those who don’t mind getting splashed and the other being a more relaxing route. Family Falls, Turtle Cove, and the Tadpole Pool allow for all ages to enjoy the amenities the park has to offer from an above water obstacle course at turtle cove and toddler friendly splash pools to the quieter Family Falls designed for those who wish to relax away from the excitement of the water slides.
RecPlex Fitness Complex
With an abundance of fitness equipment and access to personal trainers, this 6,000-square-foot fitness center has everything needed for the perfect workout. Whether you’re looking for an individualized workout in the gym or seeking a group fitness class, the RecPlex has it all. With cycling, body fusion, zumba, and more, these fitness classes allow guests to stay motivated and encourage one another in a group workout setting with trained and qualified instructors that will help you get the most from your workout.
Fitness equipment features Cybex (able bodied and special needs accessible), Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. The RecPlex exercise center includes 11 elliptical, 10 recumbent bikes and 13 treadmills, plus free weights and weight machines. The facility also has daycare services so you can be worry free while working out.
