Buffalo has established itself as a year-round hub for regional, national and international competitions across a wide range of sports. Recent events include the Major League Quadball Championships, NFL Flag Football Regional Tournament, MAC Swimming & Diving Championships and IPC World Para Hockey Championships in 2025, along with the USCAA 2025–2028 National Basketball Championships and 2026 March Madness Rounds 1 & 2 at KeyBank Center. Upcoming, the city will host the PDGA Amateur World Championships, USA Artistic Swimming US Junior & Senior Championships, USA Hockey Development Camp and American Jump Rope Federation National Championship, all in 2026.
