Edmond’s premier baseball complex is located within the beautiful Hafer Park. This complex boasts 12 baseball fields ranging in size to accommodate ages 4–13. Each field has all the amenities to offer an enjoyable playing experience for the players, including sports lights, dugouts, irrigation, bleachers, shade canopies, scoreboards and meticulously maintained playing surfaces. There is also a large, on-site concessions and restrooms building, playground and plenty of parking.

The expansive Reaves Park Sports Complex, across from the University of Oklahoma campus, has numerous baseball and softball fields for tournaments and events. The wheelchair-accessible space also provides bleachers, restrooms, a cleaning station, a pitching machine, scoreboards, speakers and much more. There’s also a unique castle-themed jungle gym for the little ones.

Located in downtown OKC’s Bricktown Entertainment District, Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is the official home of the Oklahoma City Dodgers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Seating for Dodgers baseball hits 9,000. The ballpark is also a frequent host of the Phillips 66 Big 12 baseball tournament. Outside the park are three statues of baseball legends Mickey Mantle, Johnny Bench and Warren Spahn, all of which have ties to Oklahoma.

Wendel Whisenhunt Sports Complex’s sole adult baseball field is not prepared to take on large tournaments, but the quality is worth noting here for adult leagues and events. The complex, which was named after the city’s former Parks and Rec Director Wendel Whisenhunt, also has ADA-accessible spectator areas, restrooms and a concession stand.

Building on its foundation in OKC, USA Softball added the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex to its headquarters in 1987. Along with OGE Energy Field, which features a capacity of 13,000 and a three-story press box, there are three additional on-site softball fields and the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum. The complex has played host to the World Cup of Softball, Border Battle, the highly-touted NCAA Women’s College World Series and more.

Since opening in May of 2008, Lithia & Driveway Fields has hosted more than 47,000 youth and adult games and has generated more than $120 million in economic impact. It spans 132 acres, boasting three full-sized baseball fields and seven additional fields for both softball and baseball. This 92-acre complex in Tualatin Valley receives an estimated 650,000 visitors per year. Named for visionary Howard M. Terpenning, the district’s GM from 1959–1992, this complex includes five softball fields and two baseball fields, along with two skateparks and a 10-acre natural area for non-tournament play.

This 21.5-acre community park was designed to be fully accessible to people experiencing disability. There are many special design features such as wider pathways, no steps and the first synthetic sports field in Oregon created for athletes of all abilities. This Tualatin Valley park may only have one grass baseball/softball field, meaning it’s not for big tournaments, but its 6,500 square-foot inclusive play area and community gardens make it an amazing venue for leagues and other baseball/softball events.

Located in Tualatin Valley, the 90+ acre Gordon Faber Recreation Complex began development in 1999 and today includes six premier natural softball/baseball fields, two artificial turf softball/baseball fields and a 4,500-seat baseball stadium called Ron Tonkin Field, which is the home of the Hillsboro Hops minor league baseball team.
Salem, OR
Dubbed ”Softball City, USA,” Salem’s crowning softball jewel is located within Wallace Marine Park. The softball complex features five natural surfaces with lit fields surrounded by shaded and grassy areas. Spectator seating for more than 7,000 includes an elevated grandstand and portable bleachers. A boat ramp and fishing docks give visitors access to the Willamette River. As one of the best sports facilities in the entire Northwest, this complex is home to large regional and national tournaments annually, including the USA Softball National Girls Fastpitch tournament and the Senior Softball USA Jim Sherman Memorial NW Championships.

Home to the Salem–Keizer Volcanoes minor league baseball team, Volcanoes Stadium is a fabulous baseball park in the Salem region. Nicknamed “Oregon’s Field of Dreams,” the Salem–Keizer Volcanoes Stadium opened in 1997 and has a seating capacity of 4,254.

Globe Life Field opened in 2020 and is home to 2023 MLB Champions the Texas Rangers. The stadium features a 5.5-acre retractable roof, the largest mechanized roof in North America, air conditioning and hundreds of concessions, even some that are exclusive to the city of Arlington. Across the street is Choctaw Stadium, the former home of the Rangers. The 48,000-capacity stadium’s unique exterior is constructed from Texas Sunset Red granite and brick and tells the story of Texas’ baseball history.

Baseball and softball reign supreme at Lubbock Youth Sports Complex. The facility features a total of 16 fields among four quads. The green, silver and red quads are built for softball, while the fourth quad has three Little League baseball fields and one Junior League baseball field. Each quad features its own centralized concessions building with restrooms and each field its own scorekeeper building and covered bleacher seating.
