Managed by Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation, Creasey Bicentennial Park features 10 diamonds, eight of which are assigned to two quads for tournament play. Plentiful parking is just the start of included amenities here, with pavilions also available for rent, picnic areas, rustic hiking trails, a dog park and more.

Genesee Fieldhouse is the county’s only domed indoor multipurpose sports facility, capable of hosting a number of tournaments and events including baseball and softball. Located in Grand Blanc, the 68,000-square-foot facility is just a few minutes away from Bishop International Airport, making it a prime venue for traveling teams. Its close proximity to Flint also allows teams access to city leisure and entertainment.

Janesville Youth Sports Complex in Wisconsin

Janesville Youth Sports Complex

Janesville, WI

The Janesville Youth Sports Complex is a fantastic place to help foster a love for athletics in kids and adolescents from an early age. The complex is spread out over roughly 90 acres of land with baseball and softball fields aplenty making it a great space for tournaments and sporting events. In collaboration with local organizations such as the YMCA, such events are held all the time and youth from the area are encouraged to participate. In addition, the complex has open spaces, pavilions, restrooms and trails that allow it to double as a wonderful park area for a relaxing day out.

Home to Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers, American Family Field is considered one of the best ballparks in the MLB. This retractable roof ballpark opened in 2001 and sits on 265 acres. Featuring North America’s only fan-shaped convertible roof which can open and close in less than 10 minutes, American Family Field also sports large panes of glass which allow natural grass to grow. The park contains 38 permanent concession stands, and 66 restrooms (33 for men and 33 for women). It has hosted many major events including the famous 2002 MLB All-Star Game.

This destination features attractions for all seasons including six major league baseball replica fields, Snowpark and the Umbrella Bar. A recent thruway and integration of the region’s spectacular Oak Leaf Trail provides easy access to the Milwaukee County parks system for bikers and hikers. Greater Akron, OH

Firestone Stadium works hard to cement itself as a premier venue on the sports scene. The venue was owned by the Firestone Tire Company until 1988 but was later gifted to the City of Akron. The 4,576-seat stadium began a $1.5 million renovation in June 2015 that will improve softball facilities and add a new concession area, two-story team clubhouse, picnic area and training facilities.

Branson, MO

Take your next tournament or sporting event to the Ballparks of America, a sprawling 1.2-million-square-foot campus composed of five replica Major League ballparks to give young athletes an experience similar to the pros. Each field is a 2/3 replica of a famous MLB ballpark, featuring synthetic turf, professional scoreboards, sports lighting, sunken dugouts and reclaimed seats to mimic the big league stadiums of St. Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, Boston and Brooklyn. The team clubhouses are just like those of Major League Baseball, with air conditioning, flat-screen televisions, private showers and personal, pro-style lockers. Additional amenities include generous amounts of free parking, concession stands located in prime areas of the campus, a restaurant and ice cream shop, restrooms, on-site photography services, plenty of outdoor picnic tables, and a pro shop with bats and merchandise. Ballparks of America hosts numerous tournaments every year.

BRANSON RECPLEX in Missouri

This impressive 35-acre recreation facility is a multipurpose sports complex that combines recreation fitness and sports in one convenient location. Outside, visitors will find a 12,249-square-foot aquatic center with a leisure pool, water slides, lap lanes and a diving well. The baseball/softball complex features two 300’ ballfields, two 200’ ballfields, batting cages, entry/ticket facilities, concessions, restrooms and 200-person bleacher seating per field.

CAPAHA FIELD in Missouri

Cape Girardeau, MO

Capaha Field has been the home of Southeast Missouri Baseball since the program’s inception in 1959. It is also the home to wood bat Prospect League member Cape Catfish. Prior to the 2020 season, SEMO opened a state-of-the-art baseball training facility adjacent to Capaha Field along the third base side. The 4,000-square-foot indoor facility can fit up to four batting cages, has portable pitching mounds and is equipped with HitTrax and Rapsodo technology which helps improve overall player performance. In summer 2019, Capaha Field received major upgrades that included new lights, freshly painted areas, chairback seating, a newly paved walking plaza and a home run deck located in right field. Two years before that, Capaha Field received a $1.8 million renovation that featured synthetic turf. Capacity is 2,000 and dimensions are 330 down the lines, 375 to the alleys and 400 to straightaway center field.

This versatile, multipurpose community center offers more than 13,000 square feet of main floor space. It is home to nine youth baseball fields, six youth softball fields, seven concession stands, and joins with the Cape LaCroix Recreation Trail. With 121,000 square feet to play with, the state-of-the-art Cape Girardeau SportsPlex is a tournament planner’s dream with its uniquely utilitarian concept. Two FIFA-approved indoor turf courses with 32,000 square feet of availability can be used for baseball and softball tournaments, complete with spectator seating, drop-down curtains and several scoreboards.

The Shawnee Park Sports Complex serves as one of the largest youth and adult outdoor sports venues in the region. Eight fields for baseball and softball make this a key destination for tournaments. Two regulation-sized baseball fields with 375-foot center field fences and six regulation-size softball fields with 300-foot fences make this an easy choice to host tournaments.

Boasting 80,000 square feet of arena space with MidAmerican Arena and 55,000 square feet of indoor turf with Great Southern Bank Field, the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center is massive. It features space for 400 vendor booths, has 1,125 square feet of conference space, 3,822 square feet of banquet and meeting space and has access to more than 12 miles of walking and biking trails. The turf is ideal for softball or baseball tournaments.

MODERN WOODMEN PARK in Iowa

Located in Davenport, Iowa, Modern Woodmen Park sits right on the banks of the Mississippi River. The stadium is home to the Quad Cities River Bandits, a High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The ballpark has also played host to many collegiate and high school tournaments and events. The facility features 4,000 permanent seats and 2,000 additional seats on the grass and in the picnic area. There is versatile meeting and event space with spectacular views. Families can also enjoy a variety of amusement rides at the park including a Ferris wheel, the Genesis Kidz Koaster, the River Rocker and a Carousel.

St. Ambrose University softball in Iowa

St. Ambrose University features an 80,000-square-foot Wellness Center with a 56,000-square-foot fieldhouse. Sports events have use of a 200-meter, six-lane track, pole vault areas, long and triple jump pits and four basketball/volleyball courts. The Lee Lohman Arena has a collegiate regulation-size basketball court with seating for 2,000. St. Vincent Athletic Campus features a full-size field for football, soccer, and lacrosse. Two synthetic turf all-purpose fields with spectator seating, press box, and concessions are also part of the St. Vincent Athletic Campus. St. Ambrose University is located close to shopping, dining, hotels, and entertainment.

Conveniently located off I-80 in Bettendorf, Iowa, the TBK Bank Sports Complex is a state-of-the-art, multi-use facility that serves a range of sports events. The 75-acre, 280,000-square-foot indoor complex and its accompanying outdoor sports venue can accommodate all kinds of events and tournaments. The indoor facility features a turf 11 v 11 soccer, football or lacrosse field, eight regulation-sized basketball and volleyball courts, four sand volleyball courts along with a team training area, fitness center, batting cages, and food vendors. Outside, athletes will find two lighted turf soccer fields, 10 lighted turf baseball/softball fields, and five sand volleyball courts. There are also concessions and 1,571 parking spaces. The family entertainment center has a full-service restaurant, 32 bowling lanes, 65 arcade games, two escape rooms, virtual reality, golf simulator, a sports bar and restaurant, banquet and meeting space and a two-story laser tag game. In addition, there is an in-house physical therapy center. Level II Fitness, a full-service, high-end fitness center provides members a top-level fitness experience and has the finest in trainers and equipment. The complex is a great place to host events from big to small.

Prospect Meadows is the newest of the new. A new, multi-million-dollar complex resting on 128 acres of land makes for exquisite baseball tournaments. The complex is currently an 8-field complex with 8 turf infields and 4 lighted. 380 feet to center field makes for challenging yet enjoyable play. Prospect Meadows also provides portable fencing and mounds and Miracle field for special needs players. Comfortable seating, sound systems, concession stands and scoreboards top off this beautiful complex that is expected to open an additional 8 fields in the future.

Seating 5,300 people, parking for 1,200, and eight suites with seating for up to 25, Veterans Memorial Stadium is the pinnacle of stadiums for hosting baseball tournaments. Play on the same gorgeous baseball diamond that is home to the Cedar Rapids Kernels, Class A affiliate of the MLB’s Minnesota Twins. Veterans Memorial Stadium provides indoor batting cages as well for elite training purposes. Veterans Memorial Stadium has hosted the American Legion World Series as well as the NCAA Division III Baseball Championships four times. The site comprises 11 baseball/softball fields with six equipped with Musco lighting. Amenities include three batting cages, four concession stands, scoreboards, restrooms, and parking for over 600 vehicles.

Rohrman Park has hosted its fair share of impressive events, including the National Softball Association Girls Fastpitch ‘B & C’ World Series. The park has four lighted softball/baseball fields, one unlit baseball field and features a playground, large parking area, restrooms, concession stand, one mile paved trail throughout the park and drinking fountains.

The stadium is home to the Gary SouthShore RailCats, a professional baseball team and member of the American Association. The ballpark has hosted many collegiate and high school tournaments. The facility seats 6,000 and features three fully-stocked concession stands, 18 luxury suites and a 2,000 square foot reception area.

Dedicated in March 2021, the new Loeb Stadium has many new, exciting state-of-the-art features. The field was rotated 180 degrees so that home plate is now located near the corner of Main Street and Wallace Avenue. This multi-use stadium features two concession areas and a large multi-purpose concourse. With the combined lawn and stadium seating, Loeb Stadium features a seating capacity of approximately 2,600. The stadium features 1,910 fixed lower level seats, 76 concourse table seats, two party deck areas (500 square feet each), 78 total indoor suite seats and a video scoreboard.

Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield is one of the largest complexes of its kind, with annual attendance topping 1 million and boasts 26 baseball/softball diamonds all with lighting and eight that are synthetic turf. There are four different concessions, shaded bleachers, batting cages, and plenty of bathrooms. Since opening in 2014, Grand Park’s staff and facilities have earned a national reputation for excellence and the trust of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, which utilize it for the preseason Training Camp.

Hidden Diamonds Park is 89 acres of rolling hills in Albion. The premier outdoor recreational area features a diverse array of outdoor recreation including two lighted baseball/softball diamonds, concessions, lighted basketball court, playground, and walking trails. It also added a new skate park in 2024.

Home to 89 acres of recreational activities and fields, the Kendallville Outdoor Sports & Recreation Complex has four lighted baseball/softball diamonds, parking for over 700 cars, and is an ideal venue for any sports event. It also added a new skate park in 2024.

Deaconess Sports Park is an eight-field complex ideal for girls, women’s and men’s fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball, adult and co-ed softball league play, and boys baseball for 13 and under tournaments. These state-of-the-art fields recently underwent a $3m renovation which included installation of turf infields and improved irrigation across all playing grounds, allowing for fewer rainouts and longer playing seasons. Additionally, the park features batting cages, shaded spectator seating, brick-covered dugouts, bullpens, team warm-up areas and onsite concessions. The park also offers a mile-long walking path, two playgrounds, a spray park, and a large common area.

Riverview Park and Softball Complex in Elkhart hosts one of the largest adult slow pitch tournaments in Indiana with more than 50 teams. The ballpark features four lighted diamond fields, fenced-in dugouts with roofing, and scoreboards with remote controls. It seats approximately 500-600 people. Amenities include concessions, restrooms, a spacious parking lot, and open patches of grass for stands or warming up. The park is affiliated with USA Softball of Indiana and is a great space to hold your softball or baseball tournament. Notable events hosted here include USA Softball of Indiana Adult Slow Pitch Tournament, NCSA College Regionals and Invitationals, USA Elite Select Youth Fastpitch, and USSSA Northern State Fastpitch competitions and various corporate tournaments and competitions.

The complex has hosted the U.S. Women’s Olympic softball team and multiple Amateur Softball Association national championships.

Opened in April 2021, Championship Park is an outdoor complex that includes eight baseball/softball diamonds, including four high school-sized and four softball/youth league-sized. Its features include full artificial turf fields arranged in two quads, concessions, outdoor batting cages, large parking, and other amenities.

This beautiful championship stadium features seating for up to 4,000 including stadium, lawn, and indoor suite level seating. The 360-degree concourse allows fans to walk around the entire playing field, so you can catch the game from every angle. Kokomo Municipal Stadium is located in downtown Kokomo within walking distance to local restaurants, breweries, shops, walking trails, and public art.

This center houses eight multi-purpose courts, two turf fields, a 29-foot climbing mountain and conference rooms capable of holding up to 120 people.

Waukegan’s SportsPark is an award-winning, state-of-the-art sports complex. Enjoy Illinois named them “the top sports complex in Northern Illinois” and “a perfect place to host tournaments and events.” The SportsPark features 4 softball fields, and 685-space parking lot.

The Lincolnway Special Recreation Association (LWSRA), located in New Lenox, provides adaptive and special recreation services for individuals with disabilities. The facility features four multi-purpose rooms, a learning kitchen, gymnasium with a wheelchair-friendly floor, a therapeutic garden and a wheelchair softball field. Their newest features include a sensory room and a universal design playground.

The Matteson Community Center covers 73,000 square feet of multi-purpose rooms. The community center features two lighted baseball/softball fields with bleachers, concessions, parking, and dugouts.

OZINGA FIELD in Illinois

Home to the Windy City ThunderBolts is Ozinga Field in Crestwood. Ozinga Field is a large baseball venue with the capacity to hold over 3,500 spectators. Batting cages, bullpens, covered/protected dugouts, a press box and more can be found at Ozinga Field. There are also on-site concession stands for spectators. In 2019, Ozinga Field hosted the CollClubSport Division I Baseball Regional Tournament.

Roma Sports Club in Frankfort offers state-of-the-art practice facilities with one of the largest turf areas within a 20-mile radius. It features a seven-acre outdoor grass area for events, two indoor baseball/soccer fields, a lounge area with full concessions, wifi, monitors to watch your child practice and play from the lounge area and free parking.

Located at Parkland College, Dodds Park has seven premier tournament quality softball fields, in a 3-plex and 4-plex structure. The site also has an 18-hole disc golf course.

The new Rantoul Family Sports Complex, just north of the University of Illinois, is a state-of-the-art facility in the Midwest. The complex offers all turf fields with eight baseball/softball, two T-ball/Challenger baseball, eight multi-purpose fields, over 800 parking spaces, a splash pad, and concessions.

Featuring multiple fields for soccer, softball, baseball, and a disc golf course, Sycamore Park District’s sports facilities can host a variety of tournaments and events. The complex also features a paved walking path, picnic pavilion and storage building.

McCaslin Park Fields in Illinois

A robust, multi-use park and facility, McCaslin Park originally opened in 2002. In 2010, the park received a $3.5 million redevelopment. The park resides on 32 acres of land and features four baseball diamonds with artificial turf infields, lighting, and bleachers. The ball fields serve adult and youth baseball and softball leagues and tournaments, a variety of youth camps, and family special events. A concession stand with shaded seating is open during the season. A paved trail encircles the ball fields and connects to neighboring trails, a large playground, splash pad and a Bankshot basketball court.

Augustana College facilities

Located in Rock Island, Illinois, Augustana College features several indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field is the baseball facility and has seating for 300, a practice infield, two batting cages, a team clubhouse, concessions, inning by inning scoreboard, press box and state of the art playing surface. Carver Field is the softball facility and it features covered dugouts, lights, bleachers, and a scoreboard. Augustana College has a great environment with a cozy tree-laden space, nestled in the neighborhoods of Rock Island along the Mississippi River.

Future Champions Sports Complex caters to all levels of baseball and softball competition, ranging from youth recreational leagues to collegiate contests and including all levels in between. Not your ordinary ballpark, all six infields are turfed, making it virtually rain-out proof and allowing for play from February to November. The stadium-lighted facilities boast electronic scoreboards, concrete dugouts and a full-service concession stand. A new eatery, bar and arcade opened in 2023, creating an exciting atmosphere for all ages to eat, drink and play.

Considered one of the finest softball complexes in the Midwest, this facility boasts eight lighted diamonds in the main area and two lighted diamonds at Maxwell Park. Each set of four fields also has a concession stand, making this one of the Prairie State’s go-to softball locations.
